Personal Care Alternative (PCA) Residential Homes

    1. The safety and security of our clients is our number one priority.  All support staff are pre-screened before hiring.  The homes are professionally secured and monitored.
    2. Each home is fully furnished – and provides skilled support staff twenty four (24) hours a day – seven (7) days a week.
    3. Our clients typically are Medicaid approved which covers the majority of their costs, minus room and board fees. We also accept private pay clients.  Sliding scale fees are available with limited slots and/or approvals. 
    4. Each client is considered a full member of the home with all access rights and privileges therein.

Training, Socialization and Mentorship

    1. Each client has a customized personal growth plan based on their individual needs and ability.  The ultimate goal is to promote independence to the highest level possible.
    2. Each client is provided social skills training opportunities and experiences via real life events within the community and home environment.  The goal is to assist in establishing and maintaining natural relationships to allow the greatest degree of community inclusion.
    3. Each client is mentored one-on-one to become their best - in every area of life – including (but not limited to): self advocacy, safety, self respect and independent living skills.  The intended goal is to develop and exercise competencies and talents.

Relationship and Provider Services Management

  • Continuously seek and develop excellent relationships/partnerships with other community agencies and service providers currently offering support programs of need to our clients, in addition to our in-house programs.
  • Act as the primary communication interface on behalf of each client relative to interacting with other community Service Agencies.
  • Provide guidance and appropriate influence to each client in the area of understanding and maintenance of approved services and supports.
